There should be a word for this

Black and white photograph of a large boulder grasped in the roots of a fallen tree.

I love coming across boulders that have been lifted out of the earth in the roots of trees. I’m fascinated by the interplay of texture and form. And I’m often intriqued by the story of how they got there. In this case, it was an enormous tree pitched on the side of a beach. Worn smooth by the waves, the tree looked like it had journeyed across the ocean, all the while holding a huge stone grasped in its roots. Is there are word for these boulders? Or for the trees that lift them into the light?
